These delicious cookies are not something you will feel guilty letting
your kids or yourself indulge in.
With raisins and nuts they actually have a little bit nutrition to them. They also have a great taste that
you will love.
1 cup of margarine or butter
2 cups of brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
3 1/2 cups of flour
1 cup of ground nuts
1 cup of raisins
Cream the margarine, brown sugar, and egg in a large mixing bowl. Add
the vanilla, raisins, and nuts. Mix well. Add the salt and soda. Mix
in the flour. Form the dough into rolls and wrap in waxed paper. Chill
in the refrigerator. Cut the rolls into slices. Place the slices onto
a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes at
375 degrees.
