Build a Wooden Bed Frame

From wikihow comes this wooden bed frame. Having not built one before I needed some directions to accomplish one for a spare room. Rather than spend the money to purchase one, I found this which told me how to build a bed frame cheaply. I’ve not been able to find a bed frame yet that was built more quickly or more sturdily. Until we do, we’ll use this one gladly.
Bed frames can be remarkably expensive.

Early 1800′s saw some very rich wallpapers being made in France and sent to America.
Only the very wealthy could afford them, so it wasn’t long before artists who could make those scenes from the costly papers were on the scene mimicing the paintings and scenes from the wallpapers.
Mural painting on walls was born and it was a very lucrative way to make a living back then.

Borders have been used in decorating for many reasons, usually to define a pattern on your wall, to delineate the top from the bottom part of the wall, or in some cases to bring out a color that is being used to highlight your room.

Stenciling and freehand painting was very important to the early decorators because often it was the only decorating they could afford.

Wall covering as a design element did not make an appearance in decorators’ palettes until the late 1700’s–and even then its cost limited its use to only the wealthiest households.
